(ESSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to an Essa Township residence shortly after 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 , to investigate an incident regarding the careless use of a firearm.
Two people with non-life threatening injuries were transported to Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. One of the victims has been released while the other is being kept for further medical treatment.
The firearm in question has been seized and a male youth has been charged
