The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a male youth for failing to comply with his release conditions.
Earlier this month, the youth was released from custody on two separate occasions with a condition to abide by a daily curfew of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Last night, around 10:15 p.m. police received information that the youth was breaching his curfew condition. Around 11:15 p.m. officers located the youth on Raleigh Street and he was arrested. The 16-year-old Chatham youth has been charged with two counts of failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
