(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews were called to assist an injured person at Interco Fabrication on Highway 7 just before 2:30pm yesterday.
A 60 year old male employee was injured after having his arm crushed between two pieces of steel. The injured person was transported to Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) for treatment of serious injuries. The Ministry of Labour is now investigating the cause of the accident.
