(COLLINGWOOD, ON) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a female motorist early this morning after being called to the scene of a car in the ditch in Collingwood.
On the 19th of August 2015 shortly after 3:00am, officers were called to attend at Poplar Sideroad and Hughes Street for a vehicle in the ditch. Upon speaking to one of the drivers, it was found that she was under the influence of alcohol which led to a roadside breath test with a ‘fail’ reading. As such, she was transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 25 year-old Go Woon KIM of Toronto, she is charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 8th of September 2015. No one was injured in the incident.
