Wingham police (Timmy and the Timbits) failed to call the OPP (the real police) today when a stolen car was spotted in a Wingham parking lot. To evade the Wingham officer (Timbit) she attempted to bite him, then rammed the Wingham police cruiser. The ill-equipped Wingham police let this criminal escape our tiny square mile. Apparently 3 cop cars and 7 officers weren’t enough to contain this person. Good thing it wasn’t another abduction attempt or our Community would be less a child or two.
The fully equipped OPP came to our Community’s rescue, much like every time something major happens in Wingham.
A spike belt followed up with a K9 track led to the arrest of a 21 year old Kitchener woman.
The Wingham police have yet to post anything on their Facebook page about this extremely embarrassing incident.
