Woman Sexual Assaulted While Walking With Young Baby – Suspect Descriptions Released

(Hawkesbury,ON) The Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit is investigating allegations of a sexual assault that occurred last Monday evening in a trail linking Mario Street and Nelson Street West, in the town of Hawkesbury.

A young adult woman was walking in the said trail with her young baby at approximately 8pm and was sexually assaulted by 2 males that were also walking in the trail.

The investigation suggests that the young woman was grabbed by the 2 men and forced to the ground in the trail, where the victim was sexually assaulted. The 2 men then ran away eastbound on Nelson Street West.

The suspects are described as follows:

1- Caucasian male; 30 to 40 years old, approximately 6’0”feet. He had short dark hair and a medium build. The male was wearing a tight t-shirt and possibly wearing grey pants.

2- Caucasian male, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 6’0”feet. The male had what appeared to be a receding hair line and longer on the sides. He had a short beard and dirty appearance. Walking with a limp. This suspect was wearing a loose t-shirt and long pants.
