The Chatham-Kent police have charged a woman following a collision last night in Chatham.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. an officer was travelling westbound on Park Avenue in a marker police cruiser. A woman also westbound, turned right from the centre lane attempting to enter the Tim Hortons parking lot causing a collision between her vehicle and the cruiser.
No one was injured. Total damages were estimated at $3500. The 20-year-old Belle River woman was charged with making a turn – not in safety.
