(Champlain, ON) Police charged a local man for assault on his child and spouse last January. The investigation led to the arrest of the male spouse. As police were preparing the case for court last week, police discovered that the woman victim changed facts and issues of the alleged story. The investigator subsequently discovered that she had lied to police.
The 30 year old woman from Grenville, QC was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with section 140(1)(a) Public Mischief.
She is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on January 8th, 2014.
