Just before 3:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Charing Cross Road north of Talbot Trail.
A woman was travelling on Charing Cross Road when she lost control of her vehicle and slid off the roadway striking a tree. The woman was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The 19-year-old Harwich Township woman was charged with careless driving.
