Woman Charged With Break Ins

(North Dundas) – Following an ongoing investigation into reported break-ins, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit has charged an adult female.

On September 4th & 8th, 2015 respectively, SD&G OPP officers responded to separate reports of break-ins at a commercial property (Nestle Plant) on Main Street in the Village of Chesterville, North Dundas Township. A large quantity of copper wire was stolen.

On January 6, 2016 – Heidi FINZGAR (29) of Russell Township was arrested and charged with;

– Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence (2 counts)

She was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on March 1, 2016.

DUO ARRESTED WITH FRAUDULENT CARDS

(South Stormont) – On January 7, 2016 at approximately 2:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of suspicious males at the Canada Post Office on Thorold Lane in the Village of Ingleside, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that two (2) males purchased a quantity of gift cards with suspected fraudulent credit cards. Further information revealed the duo had attended other commercial locations in the area. Officers intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401 and arrested the males.

Aboubacar DIALLO (20) of Montreal, Quebec is charged with;

– Use Revoked Credit Card (3 counts)

– Possession of a Forged Document with Intent

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

– Fail to Comply with Recognizance (5 counts)

Patrick LARIVIERE (36) of Laval, Quebec is charged with;

– Use Revoked Credit Card (3 counts)

– Possession of a Forged Document with Intent

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Both were held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
