The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman in connection with a break and enter in Chatham yesterday.
Around 2:30 p.m. officers were in the south end when they observed two suspicious females near a residence. One of the women was standing in the driveway with a backpack while the other was pulling on the door of the residence. Officers recognized the woman in the driveway from previous incidents and stopped to investigate.
The 27-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with break and enter and being in possession of break-in tools. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police continue to search for the second woman as she fled the area.
