Wingham Repeat Offender Caught Breaking Into Legion – CAMPBELL Arrested With Methamphetamine Again

(HURON-KINLOSS TWP, ON) – On July 12, 2017 at approximately 3:53 a.m., a member of South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the Village of Ripley in Huron-Kinloss Township when he noticed broken glass on the sidewalk outside the Royal Canadian Legion located on Jessie Street.

Upon further investigation, the officer observed a person inside the building wearing a mask and camouflage clothing.

Officers located the suspect hiding in the storage room area of the Legion. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Walkerton OPP Detachment.

20-year old Quinn Michael CAMPBELL of Wingham, Ontario was charged with Break, Enter a Place – With Intent to Commit Indictable Offence and Possession of Methamphetamine.

He was held for a bail hearing in Walkerton Court on July 12th. He remains in custody. A video remand is scheduled for July 17, 2017.
