Since Blyth and E-W councillors forced the Wingham police to stay, taxes will be soaring in Wingham. The Wingham police now need new guns for every officer, since one officer broke a firing pin. More officers will be hired, more cruisers purchased, and renovations to the Wingham police station are required.
Once council approves the budget for the above items, the next step will have to be to expand to East-Wawanosh, Blyth and Morris-Turnberry. The Wingham police already spend most of their days patrolling off the Square Mile, mostly in Morris-Turnberry according to chief poole.
It should be noted that the main culprits for organizing to keep the Wingham police in place live and/or have their business in Morris-Turnberry. MacGowan and Kuyvenhoven both get free policing from Wingham, clearly that is theft of service from the Wingham taxpayers. For some reason the Police Board allows/insists on the Wingham Police patrolling around their buddies businesses/homes and making the Wingham taxpayer pay for it.
