Wingham Police have a man in custody following an entry into a Josephine Street business on November 9th. The man entered the business through the insecure back door and entered the staff room, stealing the wallets of staff members. He was then able to use their credit cards to make several purchases and cash advances in Wingham, North Perth and Waterloo Region. Through the investigation, police were able to identify Daniel Patrick REES aged 39 of Cambridge. He is charged with three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, six counts of using a stolen credit card and one count of possession of government issued identification not issued to him. He is to appear in bail court in Goderich to answer to the charges.
