At 11:02 PM on 18 April, Wingham Police were called to a domestic assault that had occurred on Josephine Street. The victim reported that during the evening of 18 April, she had been assaulted by her ex boyfriend and he threatened to kill her. During the investigation she disclosed incidents from the past resulting in further charges. A 30 year old Wingham man is charged with Uttering Threats, Assault, Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Choking. The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
