(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, 0N) On Tuesday April 09, 2013, shortly before 2 p.m. an Avonton Road resident in Sebringville observed a black pickup truck drive out of her laneway with the family camper trailer in tow. The resident contacted the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) who broadcast the information of the stolen trailer to all their officers and to those in surrounding areas.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. the pickup truck pulling the 25 foot Prowler Lynx trailer was observed travelling south bound on Main St.South in Seaforth by a Huron County O.P.P. officer. The lone male driver of the pickup truck was arrested and it was confirmed that the trailer had been stolen.
William DINEEN (31) of Goderich has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. He is scheduled to appear at the Stratford Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on May 06, 2013, to answer to this charge.
