(LEAMINGTON, ON) On Saturday, September 21, 2013 at approximately 11:30 pm, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Leamington, were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a parked vehicle.
The crash occurred in front of 70 Talbot Street East in Leamington. The driver of a silver Pontiac Sunfire, had struck a parked red Pontiac Vibe. No one was injured in the collision.
Upon speaking with the driver of the Sunfire, police observed signs of impairment. He was arrested at the scene.
Wilhelm WIEBE, age 38 of Leamington, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content.
He will appear in a Leamington court on October 17, 2013.
