(LEAMINGTON, ON) – On April 9, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an erratic driving complaint in Leamington, Ontario.
A motorist contacted police advising they had witnessed a white GMC pickup truck being driven erratically and it had struck a road sign on Seacliff Drive West.
OPP members located the vehicle, the driver exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested.
Wilhelm WIEBE, age 41 of Leamington, Ontario will appear in a Leamington court on May 4, 2017 charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Drive Motor Vehicle in Excess of 80 Milligrams of Alcohol.
WIEBE’s drivers licence has been suspended and his vehicle impounded.
