(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On June 15, 2016, at 8:09 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 108, north of the City of Elliot Lake.
Police observed a southbound vehicle that matched the description provided by the complainant. A traffic stop was initiated. The officer determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and the driver was arrested.
Wilbert HEBERT, 57 years of age, from Elliot Lake, Ontario, was charged with: Operate Motor Vehicle Over 80 milligrams, contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on August 2, 2016.
