(Ottawa, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Ottawa Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 417 eastbound near the Eagleson Road overpass.
At approximately 7:05 pm, a white coloured vehicle, possibly a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) cut off an eastbound motorcycle. As a result, the motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from his motorcycle where he landed in the south ditch. The white vehicle or SUV continued eastbound.
The 44 year old driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
