(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – An officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was waved down, at approximately 1:30pm, while patrolling the Village of Bobcaygeon on Sunday March 5, 2017.
A citizen alerted the officer to a possible impaired driver in the area. The officer located the vehicle and commenced an investigation. The driver, 51 year old, Wendy ROBERTSON of Trent Lakes, was arrested for Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mg of Alcohol in 10 0 ml of Blood.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on Thursday March 23, 2017.
