(ORILLIA, ON.) – Over the past weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 129 calls for service. Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township and the City of Orillia. The time frame is from Friday night at 6:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.
There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarm, 911 hang-ups, motor vehicle collisions, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints and Impaired driving.
On June 13, 2015 at approximately 2:54 a.m., the Orillia OPP was dispatched to a traffic complaint on Colborne Street West in the City of Orillia. The motor vehicle in question was located and stopped on Colborne Street where the male driver was arrested.
Stephen HENDERSON, 26 years old of Oro-Medonte Township, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. He was released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Orillia court on June 30th, 2015.
On June 13, 2015 at approximately 7:25 p.m., the Orillia OPP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 11 South, between Brady Drive and Canal Road in Severn Township. When officers arrived on scene they located a vehicle that had struck the guide rail and arrested the male driver at scene.
Shane MCCANN, 46 years old of Bonnechere Valley Township, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. He was released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Orillia court on June 30th, 2015.
On June 13, 2015 at approximately 10:05 p.m., the Orillia OPP responded to a single motor vehicle into the ditch on Oxford Street in the City of Orillia. When officers arrived on scene they located the vehicle stuck in the ditch and arrested the female driver at the scene.
Kelly FRASER, 51 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Over 80 milligrams Blood/Alcohol. She was released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Orillia court on June 30th, 2015.
