(ORILLIA, ON.) – Over the past weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 148 calls for service. Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township and the City of Orillia. The time frame is from Friday night at 6:00 p.m. until Monday morning at 6:00 a.m.
There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarm, 911 hang-ups, motor vehicle collisions, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints and Impaired drivers.
On Saturday, July 4, 2015 at approximately 10:50 p.m., an officer from the Orillia OPP was on routine patrol on Highway 11 northbound and conducted a motor vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.
Jarrett CAMPBELL, 19 years old of London, has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 mgs Blood/Alcohol. He was released on a Promise to Appear and will be in Orillia court on July 21, 2015.
