Police were called by an occupant of a George Street business for 2 males walking on the roadway and one of them carrying a scoped rifle. The complainant reported that the males entered the bush area and disappeared.
Several officers attended including a canine officer who was working and first to arrive. After a short dog track, both males were located and were in possession of a very realistic looking airsoft rifle. The 2 teenage males were educated as to the obvious concerns for carrying the airsoft gun in plain view.
