Weapons Call – Trevor Wade Bernard Arrested

(ALLISTON, ON) –On Friday the 24th of June 2016 at approximately 10:50am, members of Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a weapons call in front of store on Young Street, Town of Alliston, New Tecumseth, ON. Witnesses observed a person holding what appeared to be a firearm.

A rapid response from OPP officers resulted in a quick arrest and recovery of a replica air soft rifle.

Trevor Wade Bernard 46 years old of New Tecumseth, Ontario was placed under arrest for Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous purpose as well as Common Nuisance under the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was transported from scene to Nottawasaga Detachment and lodged, and is being held for bail hearing in Barrie Ontario Court of Justice.
