(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS) – On Sunday, September 29, 2013 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a 1995 GMC Sierra pick-up truck and a 2011 Chevrolet Cobalt on Grey Road 3 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Both vehicles were travelling southbound on Grey Road 3. The collision occurred when the driver of the pick-up truck proceeded to pass the Chevrolet, just at the time when the driver of the Chevrolet made a left turn into a private driveway.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 24 year old female from Shallow Lake, was taken to the Owen Sound Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured.
Wayne McTEER, 40, of Georgian Bluffs, was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
