(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Friday August 12, 2011 shortly after 2 a.m. Perth County OPP officers spoke to the driver of a vehicle on Line 15 North of St.Marys. Signs of impairment were detected resulting in the driver’s arrest and transport to the Perth County OPP Detachment for Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Wayne Gooch (56) from the Township of Perth South has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, and operation of a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs. of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He is set to appear in Stratford Provincial Court on September 19, 2011 to answer to these charges. He was also served a 90 day driver’s licence suspension.
