(GERALDTON, ON) – On March 21, 2015 at 2:10 am members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol on Main Street in Geraldton, Ontario. Police observed some concerning driving behaviour. Before police could initiate a traffic stop, the driver stopped the vehicle and exited while stumbling towards a building.
As a result of the police investigation the driver, Waylon MCLELLAN a 31 year old male from Kindersley, Saskatchewan, was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Drive Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in 100mL of Blood and two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
The accused was arrested, held for a show cause hearing and remanded to the Thunder Bay District Jail.
