Members of the Criminal Investigations Division attended a Penetang Street address to follow-up with a current investigation.
While at the address they recognized a male that was wanted by police for numerous serious offences including assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
The male was arrested and taken into custody without incident and held for a bail hearing.
