(COLLINGWOOD, ON.) Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Huronia West detachment of the OPP executed a search warrant at a residence in Collingwood yesterday which led to the seizure of a firearm.
Officers executed the warrant on the 10th of September 2014 at a residence on Hurontario Street where police located a 16 gauge shotgun and approximately 30 grams of marihuana. As well, three individuals were arrested and now face numerous criminal charges.
Charged are 19 year-old Michael ISAACS of Collingwood, he is facing charges of:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon or prohibited device or ammunition
Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
Possession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana
Tampering with a serial number of a firearm
He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 14th of October 2014
20 year-old Jessika SIMONEK of Collingwood, she is facing charges of:
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
Possession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana
She is to appear in Collingwood court on the 14th of October 2014
18 year-old Bryce HOGGARD of Collingwood, he is facing a charge of:
ossession of a controlled substance – cannabis marihuana
He is to appear in Collingwood court on the 28th of October 2014
