(Pembroke, ON) – On the 24th of January members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Crime Unit and OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit as well as the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), executed a search warrant at a residence on Pembroke St. West in the City of Pembroke.
As a result 25 year old Elizabeth Walsh and 26 year old Aidan Weese have each been charged with 3 counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Prohibited Firearm and ammunition, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm and Careless Use of Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition contrary to the Criminal Code.
Cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine were seized with a street value of approximately $4,000, as well as a firearm.
