Warn Range Suspension & Ticket Served On Driver

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Just after 3:00 a.m. on April 20, 2014 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that was travelling westbound on Hawkins Road.

Upon speaking with the male driver the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a warn range reading. The driver, a 26 year old from Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension. In addition, he was ticketed for being a “Novice Driver and Having a Blood Alcohol Concentration (B.A.C) Above Zero”.
