Violent Home Invasion – Christopher & Jonathan CARBONETTE Charged

(Embrun, ON) On December 27, 2014 OPP Constables responded to a robbery on Route 400 in Russell Township. At that location the occupants reported that two males forced their way inside the house. Once inside the suspects assaulted the occupants before leaving with a money safe and other items. The investigation was taken over by the Russell County OPP Crime Unit. The investigation was concluded and two males are facing criminal charges.

Christopher CARBONETTE, 46 years old from Russell will have to appear in L’Orignal court on January 2, 2015 to answer to the following charges:

CC 266 Assault

CC 348(1)(a) Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence

CC 354(1)(a) Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

CC 344(1)(b) Robbery with Theft

Jonathan CARBONETTE, 42 years old from Embrun will have to appear in L’Orignal court on January 6, 2015 to answer to the following charges:

CC 344(1)(b) Robbery with Theft

CC 348(1)(a) Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offence

CC 266 Assault
