(Municipality of North Perth, ON) On Sunday October 31, 2010, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to an apartment on Wellington Ave. South in Listowel where a break and enter had taken place.
Investigation revealed that keys, money, a flat screen television and numerous other items were stolen. In the laundry room of the building two washing machines had their coin control boxes pried off and money was removed from them. From evidence obtained, police determined that 3 persons were responsible for the break-in and theft.
Perth County OPP officers located and arrested one of the suspects in Listowel and subsequent investigation revealed that the other two suspects were in Kitchener and Waterloo. With the assistance of the Waterloo Regional Police the suspects in Kitchener and Waterloo were arrested and are currently in custody.
Victoria Albrecht (21) from Huron East, Adrian Cousin (20) from Kitchener and Jesse Nichols (19) from Waterloo are charged with breaking and entering, theft under $5000, and mischief under $5000. Victoria Albrecht was also charged with being in possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 while Adrian Cousin and Jesse Nichols were both charged with breaching their probation orders.
Victoria Albrecht is set to appear in Criminal Court in Atwood on November 24, 2010 to answer to her charges while Adrian Cousin and Jesse Nichols remain in custody and are awaiting a bail hearing in Stratford on Thursday November 04, 2010.
