Victim Kidnapped, Assaulted, Threatened Then Taken To Bank Machine

(Marmora, ON) On January 24, 2015 at 4:30 a.m. a violent home invasion occurred at a residence on Crawford Drive in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. A female suspect forced her way into the home while armed with a weapon and threatened the male resident. She proceeded to damage property in the residence.

The victim fled from his home however a short time later he was forced into a vehicle by the suspect and another male. He was transported to another residence in the Village of Marmora and over a period of several hours the victim was assaulted and threatened. He was later driven to a bank machine where the suspects demanded he withdraw cash and turn it over to them. The victim was returned to his residence later in the day.

The investigation has led members of Central Hastings O.P.P Crime Unit to arrest and charge 28 year old Jessica YOUMANS of Marmora, ON with Uttering Threats, Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement, Break and Enter, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Aggravated Assault, Mischief Under, and Robbery. She was held in custody and attended a bail hearing on January 27, 2015.

In addition 25 year old Tyson GORDON of Marmora, ON was arrested and charged with Uttering threats, Kidnapping, Forcible confinement, and Robbery. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville on February 26, 2015.

The male resident was transported to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
