Vehicles Set On Fire

(FORT FRANCES, ON) – In the early morning hours of November 7, 2015 members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate two suspicious fires. In both occurrences, vehicles were lit on fire. These incidents took place on the 500 Block of Second Street East and the 200 block of Fifth Street East in the Town of Fort Frances.

Investigation is currently ongoing into these fires with the support of the OPP Forensic Identification Services and the OPP Northwest Region Crime Management Team.

Anyone with information regarding these suspicious fires is urged to contact the OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. With the assistance of the community, the OPP is looking to hold the perpetrators of these crimes accountable.
