(AWERES TOWNSHIP, ON) – At approximately 6:00 pm on November 12, 2014 officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer on Highway 17 at the Mile Hill.
A vehicle travelling southbound lost control and struck the front corner of an oncoming northbound tractor trailer.
The female driver of the passenger vehicle was transported by ambulance to hospital with minor injuries.
Both vehicles had to be towed.
