(Lingham Lake)- On the 28th of June 2016 at approximately 12:20 a.m. members of the Central Hastings Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to Lingham Lake, a remote area, north east of Madoc.
The investigation revealed that two males had been inside a motor vehicle, in the lake, when the vehicle rolled over and became submerged.
As a result of this single motor vehicle collision Brandon STRANG, 28 years old of Cavan-Monaghan Township was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
