(ESSA, ON)- On December 26, 2013 at 12:50pm, a member of the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and driver on County Road 10.
During the stop, the driver identified herself by another name; an investigation revealed that the driver had provided a false name to the Officer.
Charged is 49 year old Essa resident, Katherine PORTEOUS, she is charged with one count of Public Mischief and one count of Personation with intent under the Criminal Code of Canada. Her first appearance will be January 29, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford, ON.
