(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) clocked a vehicle at 137km/h in the 80km/h zone on Highway 7 Friday morning just before 10:00am.
Hamdi BENAISSA DEOL (age 36) of Ottawa, ON was charged with stunt driving in relation to excessive speed. His driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and his 2014 Toyota Matrix was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on July 27, 2015.
