(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to an incident at a Bellevue Avenue, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, February 2, 2015 between 6:30 a.m., and 3:30 p.m., unknowns suspect(s) attended the address and proceeded to loosen the lug nuts on the front passenger rim of the vehicle.
The owner drove the vehicle and noticed a significant vibration while operating the motor vehicle on the roadway. The vehicle was taken in for service where it was discovered that the lug nuts had been intentionally loosened.
This act of mischief could have had devastating effects for the driver of the vehicle and other innocent motorists and pedestrians travelling along the roadway.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
