(MATHESON, ON) – Members of the Matheson Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Black River-Matheson Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at the end of North Road in Black River-Matheson on March 27, 2016 at 7:34 a.m. No one was injured in the blaze.
As a result of the investigation, Thomas ALFORD, 28, of Black River-Matheson has been charged with the following offences:
Care or Control While Impaired by Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC);
Care or Control Over 80 Milligrams contrary to the (CCC);
Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent contrary to the (CCC); and with
Break, Enter a Dwelling House with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to the (CCC).
He is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on May 10, 2016.
