(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 27, 2014 Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Princeton Variety store in Blandford-Blenheim Township.
A lone male entered the store shortly before 9:00 p.m. and approached the male store employee. The male suspect threatened the employee, demanded money and brandished a knife in his hand. The employee chased the suspect out of the store where he fled on foot.
Members of the OPP Canine Unit and Emergency Response Team assisted with a search of the area and Forensic Identification Officers attended to examine the scene.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect described as follows (photo attached):
Male, white
19-30 years old
5’7†– 5’9†tall
Slim build
Wearing a one piece blue overalls with grey at the chest and shoulders, a dark open face balaclava, dark shoes and a black back pack.
