(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several mischief calls last night in the areas of Kara Lane and Joseph Street in the Town of Tillsonburg.
Several homeowners reported that around 8:00 p.m., their inflatable Christmas lawn ornaments were damaged by unknown suspects coming onto their property and cutting them.
The suspects were chased on foot by one homeowner but were able to evade being caught and identified. The suspects in that case were described as three male teenagers. Another witness described a male suspect exited an older Chrysler van and cut more inflatable lawn ornaments then fled in the vehicle.
While OPP continued with their patrols, more homes were identified with mischief to their outdoor decorations, and homeowners were notified. The suspects have not yet been located.
OPP are requesting any witnesses who may have seen anything relating to these incidents and have not yet spoken to police to please help us in finding these “Grinch’sâ€Â.
