(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On the 16th of October 2013 at approx. 9:45pm, officers from the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended Stockdale Road for the report of a single motor vehicle collision.
A northbound 2007 Mazda left the roadway and entered the west ditch causing the vehicle to rollover.
The driver, a 26 year old Frankford resident and her three year old passenger both walked away from the collision without any injuries. The child didn’t sustain any injuries as a result of a properly used child safety seat.
The investigation into the collision is complete and there will be no charges.
The OPP would like to remind motorists of the importance of having a properly installed child safety seat and making sure your child is securely buckled in.
