(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 31st, 2013, at approximately 3:40 p.m. members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles on Hwy #26 between Sunnidale Corners and Klondike Park Road.
An OPP investigation has revealed so far that an eastbound Chevrolet Pickup Truck for yet to be determined reasons crossed the centre line and collided with a westbound Chevrolet SUV.
The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet SUV and the passenger of the Chevrolet Pickup Truck were all transported the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital with various injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Pickup Truck a 66 year old male from Mississauga was also transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital but has since been transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto in serious condition.
The investigation into this MVC is continuing with the assistance of our Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit.
