(ALFRED-PLANTAGENET TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 28, 2016, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a home in the Hamlet of Wendover in relation to a medical distress call. A four year old boy was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A post mortem examination was completed on Thursday, December 29, 2016. The Office of the Chief Coroner and the Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit are continuing the investigation under the direction of OPP Detective Inspector Peter Donnelly of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
