(CALEDON, ON) – On July 23rd, 2014 shortly after 8:20 pm, officers from the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Barrie Emergency Services personnel responded to a fatal motorcycle collision on Line 3 south of Highland Drive in Oro-Medonte Township. The investigation has revealed that a male operating a dirt bike entered into a construction area and struck a pile of gravel. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.
The OPP confirm that the operator of the dirt bike was 49-year old David M. Fisher from Barrie.
The investigation into this fatal collision is on-going.
