UPDATE – OPP INVESTIGATE BREAK AND ENTER

(GRAFTON, ON) – Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a suspect in a break and enter in which women’s undergarments were stolen from a home in Alnwick-Haldimand Township, Ontario that occurred on June 28, 2013 .

On Friday July 26, 2013 OPP reported police investigations were being conducted into three break and enters that occurred in June and on July 24, 2013 where items stolen were women’s undergarments.

Detectives assigned to these break, enter and theft investigations have arrested a male in regards to an occurrence that was reported at a residence located on Massey Road. The suspect, who is known to the victim is not believed to be involved in the other break-ins involving women’s undergarments.

The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.

OPP continue to investigate the other two occurrences in Northumberland where women’s undergarments were stolen. There is no further information to provide at this time regarding those incidents.
