Update: OPP CURRENTLY AT SCENE OF SINGLE VEHICLE ATV CRASH IN TINY TOWNSHIP

The female teenage operator of the ATV has sadly succumbed to her injuries late this afternoon at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland.

(Tiny Township, On)- Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are currently at the scene of a single vehicle ATV crash that occurred this afternoon shortly after 2:00PM July 24,2014 on an unassumed section of the 19th Concession Road in north Tiny Township.
Attending officers are being assisted in the investigation by members of the OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Investigations Unit (TTCI).
The crash victim is a teenage female who was the lone occupant of the ATV she was operating and she was riding with another teenage female also operating an ATV at the time of the crash.
The female was transported from the scene by the Simcoe County Paramedic Services to Georgian Bay General Hospital and the services of Ornge have been requested to transport for further care.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
